Elevations Salon, co-owned by Jorgi Lane and Philip Smith, who together offer 23 years of experience in the hair industry.  Each bring different talents to the salon and together they look forward to many years giving great customer service to the tri-state area.

 

is a third-generation cosmetologist who has been in the industry for sixteen years and has studied at the Aveda Institute in New York, completing courses in advanced hair color.  As well as doing cosmetology, Jorgi enjoys spending time with her husband and their children. Her hobbies include soap making and the custom blend of aromatherapy oils.  She has been studying the use of these healing essential oils for the past ten years.  She brings this knowledge to the salon to give you a truly natural experience.

Philip Smith, originally from England, moved to the United States in 1982. He obtained his cosmetology license in 2003 and has completed continuing education classes with the Aveda Institute in hair care, hair styling, coloring, and make-up application techniques. Philip also has an extensive knowledge in hair, make-up and skin-care products.

Shellie Bayko has been a cosmetologist for sixteen years and aims to pamper her guests with facials, body waxing, pedicures, manicures, makeup, up-dos and hair color and cutting services.

She has a keen interest in alternative healing including Iridology - studying the iris to determine ailments - and Reconnection - using your own energy to heal your body. Massage school will hopefully be her next adventure!

Extensive training with Redken, Aveda and Bioelements in hair coloring and cutting techniques makeup and skincare.

Katie Heare graduated from The Temple. A Paul Mitchell Partner School in Frederick, MD and has extensive training in Color application and placement , Hair cutting and styling as well as perming, and Formal hair dressing . Katie is also licenced for your manicures and artificial gel nails, pedicures and facials. Katie looks forward to continuing her education and knowledge in all aspects of the salon.

Outside of work she prefers spending quality time with friends and family and crafting of any kind. She enjoys challenging her creative abilities in and out of the salon and wishes to share her passion for cosmetology with others.
